The Village at El Dorado

  • City: Frisco, TX
  • Project: Neighborhood Retail Center
  • Building Type: 4 buildings, Tilt-wall construction

The theme of The Village at Eldorado retail center is to provide a pedestrian-friendly, open air market which offers customers a variety of restaurants, shops and services. From the beautiful tree-lined boulevard running through the center of the property, to the oversized brick walkways and the spacious patio areas where restaurant patrons can relax, to the 2 acre park; The Village at Eldorado is designed to create a sense of place.

This retail center is located in the high growth area of eastern Denton County. Positioned at the “Main & Main” intersection of Eldorado Parkway and F.M. 423, this center will be part of some major retail synergy as the population trend of the Dallas metroplex continues to move northward. Situated along the northeast bank of Lewisville Lake, the surrounding area has experienced population growth of over 300% since 2000. With a Lowe’s on the northwest corner and a Wal-Mart Supercenter under construction on the northeast corner, this site is rapidly becoming a major retail corner. Also the construction of a toll-bridge connecting Eldorado Parkway directly to both I-35 and the Dallas North Tollway as well as TXDOT improvements along both intersecting thoroughfares indicates that this area will have a tremendous amount of traffic in the years to come.
