Salil Gaitonde is a principal at CMC Commercial Realty Group. A Dallas-based developer of commercial real estate, he has been involved from inception to completion for many different asset types including retail, office, industrial and multifamily. He has been principally involved in land selection and acquisition, negotiation and finalizing financing as well as operations during and after the project is constructed.

As a multifamily developer, his development firm has from the ground-up built over $300M in apartment projects - both conventional and HUD 221D4 financed. A principal of a small family firm, Salil has been involved from raw land to completed, stabilized project on all the apartment deals with building types ranging from three-story garden to multi story podium projects. CMC continues to expand as a multifamily devleoper with new projects incorporating tax advantages in exchange for an affordability component.

Salil is a member of TREC and NAIOP. Mr Gaitonde holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas.
